Recommended Bike Rack to Carry Electric Bikes on a 2020 Honda CR-V
Question:
I traded in my pickup for a 2020 CRV. I need a way to carry my 2 ebikes sinec I don't have a bed anymore. CAn I put a hitch on the CRV and get a bike rack for it? Which ones shoudl I look at? IT'd be nice too if the rack fits the 2inch hitch on my trailer so we can carry the bikes when we go camping.

We've got exactly what you need. First of all, the best hitch to use on your 2020 Honda CR-V is part # C13397. It's a 2 inch hitch which gives you more variety in the bike rack that'll fit and this way the same rack fits on your trailer as well. I've linked a video of us installing the hitch on a 2019 CR-V which it also fits. The process is the same on your 2020.
The bike rack is a little trickier since not all of them are rated to be used on a trailer. There's more movement at the back of a trailer than a passenger vehicle which puts more stress on the rack and not all of them can handle it. A great rack that can handle the weight of an e-bike and can be used on the back of your trailer is the Swagman E-Spec, part # S94FR. Check out the video I linked to see how it works. The Escapee can handle bikes up to 70 pounds each which is enough for most e-bikes. It also includes locks for the rack and the bikes which is always great.
