Trailer Hitch and Wiring For a 2020 Toyota RAV4

Question:

I have a 2020 Toyota Rav4 and need a 2" hitch for my folding cargo carrier with lights that connects to a 4-pole connector. Do you have the wiring too?

We do have the hitch and wiring that you need for the 2020 Toyota RAV4! I recommend the etrailer Hitch Receiver - Class III 2" part # e23ZR. The etrailer option provides about a 1/2" more ground clearance than the other options for the RAV4 which will be helpful when carrying the cargo carrier to insure it does not scrape the ground. The folding cargo carrier will need to have more than 5" from the center of the hitch pin hole of the shank to the closest part of the cargo carrier when folded up to clear the bumper on the RAV4 with the etrailer installed. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

The wiring that you need to use the lights on the cargo carrier is Curt Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56434. The Tekonsha wiring harness will give you a 4-Pole flat at the rear of the RAV4 for the cargo carrier to plug into to illuminate the lights. You can also use the 4-Pole flat in the future if you decide to tow a trailer with lights.
