The Draw-Tite Class III Max Frame Round Tube Receiver Hitch part # 76271 on a 2020 Subaru Forester measures 5" from the center of the hitch pin hole to outside of the bumper. The center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the platform rack when folded up when need to be more than 5" for it to clear the bumper on the Forester.

For example the Kuat NV 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack part # NV22G measures 7" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest part of the rack when folded up so it would clear the bumper of the Subaru. The bike rack itself is made of a nice lightweight aluminum to avoid corrosion and gives it a nice sleek look. The rack also tilts away for rear cargo access when you need a cold drink from the cooler after riding the trails!
