Brake Controller Not Getting Signal From Stop Light Switch on 2015 Ram 2500  

Question:

No signal coming from brake pedal to controller have ckd connections and fuses all appear to be ok ckd jumper harness and oem harness for open circuit found nothing, swapped out brake pedal switch still no signal to controller will work with manual slide I must be missing something. truck brake lights do work ,this controller did work for about 1-1/2 years

If you have tested the red wire (the stop light switch wire) from the harness with a Circuit Tester like # PTW2979 and that wire does not have a signal, the wire on the harness has somehow been damaged. That would be the only reason there wouldn't be a signal since you mentioned checking the fuses and the connections and your brake lights working.

If this is the factory controller, I strongly recommend upgrading to an aftermarket brake controller, which are absolutely a higher quality than the factory controllers. The best option is the Curt Echo Mobile Brake Controller # C51180 because it will simply override your factory controller without having to go to the dealer to flash the computer, which can happen with wired controllers when replacing factory ones on your truck.
