Does Camco RV Heated Drinking Water Hose # CAM22903 Need Insulation

Should or can i insulate this hose with foam water line insulation? Would it be safe to insulate with foam waterline insulation?

Foam water line insulation would not really be needed with the Camco RV Heated Drinking Water Hose # CAM22903 since it has a heater which will keep the hose and it's contents easily above freezing. If you really wanted to use the insulation there isn't any reason why it wouldn't work though!

The Camco RV Heated Drinking Water Hose for Cold Weather part #CAM22903 is rated for use in temperatures as low as -40 degrees fahrenheit. We currently do not carry the 50' long hose rated for -20 degrees fahrenheit.
