Tire Chains for 2018 Audi Q5 with 255/45r20 Tires
Question:
I double checked and it definitely says to install on front tires. Not sure why we are getting different info but mine is coming from my cars manual. Regardless, will the brand you recommended work on the front tires as well?

I was able to find the manual for the 2018 Audi Q5 and I've attached a the page that it talks about tire chains; from what I'm seeing it says to only install chains on the rear tires, so I would recommend double checking- there is more clearance at the rear of the vehicle which is why I believe this is the recommendation. Regardless of where you install them, you are correct in that you need chains or a fine mesh tire sock that is no taller than 13.5mm.
I would recommend going with the Konig Self-Tensioning, Low-Pro Snow Tire Chains - Diamond Pattern - D Link # TH04115255. These chains are a low profile, small chain with a height of less than 10mm, so they will work perfectly on your 2018 Audi Q5. On top of the high quality Konig brand, that comes with a 5 year warranty, these are the easiest to install chains on the market. I've attached a video that shows how easy they are to install for you to have a look at. These chains can be installed on either front or rear tires and will provide the required clearance for your vehicle.
