Does Draw-Tite Hitch 76288 Require Bumper Fascia Trimming on 2020 BMW X5

Question:

is bumper fascia trimming required when i install 76288 on my 2020 bmw x5? Does the installation require a lot of modification to the vehicle? I read something about taking the bumper beam off?

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76288 for the 2020 BMW X5 does require some fascia trimming and slight bumper beam mounting plate trimming. The bumper beam is temporarily removed but reinstalled after trimming the mounting plate. The installation does require trimming a 3.75" x 4 " sqaure into the fascia for the hitch receiver to stick through since it's a concealed cross tube design the only portion of the hitch visible after installation is the receiver tube. I have attached a photo for your reference.
