Can 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan Tow a Trailer

Is a 2020 Dodge Grand Caravan capable of towing a trailer?

According to the owner's manual, Dodge states that the 3.6L V6 has a towing capacity up to 3600 lbs with two people and a trailer frontal area of 40 square feet. 3 to 5 persons would lower the capacity to 3450 lbs and 3000 lbs for 6 or 7 people. They do not list a capacity for the 4 cylinder engine.
If you're looking for a hitch, I can highly recommend the Draw-Tite Class III hitch, part # 75579 is it's the least visible as well as being the easiest to install. For a trailer wiring harness, use # C56331. You'll also need a ball mount and the correctly sized trailer ball. The ball mount needed will depend on the coupler height of the trailer when its level. When we installed the hitch, we found that it sits about 13 inches above the ground once installed on the vehicle. Since the average trailer coupler height is about 17-18 inches, a ball mount with a 4-5 inch rise will likely put you right where you need to be. I'd recommend the Curt # C45240 with a 4-1/12 inch rise. For a 1-7/8 inch trailer ball, use # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch diameter ball.
