Can I Use Demco Hijacker With Reese Side Winder Pin Box
Question:
Can I use sidewinder rotating turret with my hyjacker hitch that is installed in my truck. Do you have a locking wedge that works with this hitch

If your Demco Hijacker is a fixed fifth wheel hitch you can certainly use it with the Sidewinder with the custom wedge for Hijacker fifth wheel hitches part # SWW-05.
If your Demco Hijacker is a slider hitch like part # DM8550034 then you will need to lock out the side winder. Since the Reese Side winder moves the pivot point of the towing setup back 22" you cannot have a pivot point at the pin box and the slider hitch without causing damage.
If you look under the rotating turret there should be 2 bolts or bolt holes. If they are bolts you can tighten them to lock it out. Make sure to remove the wedge at the bottom of the side winder though. If they are holes you can use 2- 3/4" grade 5 bolts and nuts to lock it out. I have attached installation instructions to show you how this is done.
