Recommended Battery Charger and Maintainer for 2008 Porsche Boxster

For you 2008 Porshe Boxster I recommend the NOCO 12-Volt battery charger part # 329-GENIUS5. It constantly monitors and maintains your 12V battery when hooked up. It prevents any kind of overcharge by switching to a maintenance pulse, which most trickle chargers won't do.

I've used NOCO chargers for a wide variety of applications, cars, trucks, lawnmowers, and ATVs, and have always been happy with the results. I really like that it comes with 2 sets of cables to hook up to the battery; one has clamps just like jumper cables, the other has eyelet ring terminals for permanent attachment to the battery. You can permanently mount the eyelets to the battery, and when you want to charge all you would have to do it reach the connector and plug into charger. That would also leave the other set to charge a different battery without unhooking the Porsche.
