Recommended 5th wheel for 2020 GMC Denali 2500 Crew Cab With Factory Prep Package

For your 2020 GMC Sierra Denali 2500 I recommend the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch w/ Slider part # BWRVK3775 if you have the 6 3/4 foot bed. The hitch is rated at 20K lbs GTW, and 5K lbs TW. The slider helps eliminate clearance concerns during low speed turns, which can be common on trucks with beds shorter than 8ft.

If you have an 8 foot bed I recommend the B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch part # BWRVK3710 for 20K lbs GTW and 5K lbs TW, or part # BWRVK3715 for 25K lbs GTW, and 6250 lbs TW. Both of these hitches feature a fixed base.

I have installed and used a wide variety of 5th wheels and B&W is by far my favorite. The overall finish and construction feels solidly built and looks nice in the back of any truck. The handle to open the jaws is a cam style, which helps prevent binding. Which means hooking up and disconnecting from your trailer will be easier, even if you're on uneven ground. It also has polyurethane bushings to reduce chucking all the bumps that may travel from the hitch into your truck for a nice smooth ride.

If you need wiring for your 5th wheel, I recommend Bargman 5th wheel wiring part # 50-97-410. This allows you to mount a 7 way connector in the bed of your truck and prevent having to drape the wire over the tailgate. It also allows you to keep your factory trailer connector in the bumper functioning.
