Will Trailer Hitch on 2020 Nissan Rogue Interfere with Hands-Free Rear Liftgate

I'm interested in the Curt Class lll hitch, # C13204 for my 2020 Nissan Rogue. Will the hitch interfere with the hands-free liftgate option?

Once the Curt # C13204 is installed, the sensors located in the center of the under bumper area will be obscured by the square hitch receiver tube. However, there are sensors under the right and left side of the bumper and those will function just fine. The same would hold true for the other hitch alternatives available for your vehicle.

If you click the provided link, you can view an install video showing the hitch being installed on a 2019 Rogue. The procedure would be the same on your 2020 model.

If you'll be towing with your Rogue, you'll need a few other items to complete your towing setup.

For a trailer wiring harness, I'd recommend # 118480. I'd also recommend the etrailer.com ball mount kit, part # 989900. The kit includes two ball mounts, a 1-7/8 inch and a 2 inch trailer ball as well as two hitch pins.
