Adapter To Convert 4 Flat To 5 Flat On A 2011 Nissan Pathfinder
Question:
I need convert tow vehicle boat trailer wiring harness from a basic 4 flat plug to a 5 flat plug used to lock out disc brakes on hydraulic activated trailer when vehicle is in reverse . Vehicle is 2011 Nissan Pathfinder LE. I am not apposed to using the round style 7pin base because i already have adapter. Thanks in advance

The Curt Trailer Connector Adapter - 4-Way Flat to 5-Way Flat - Vehicle End # C57187 is what you are looking for in this situation. Included are a couple of video resources providing an overview as well as an installation walk through to help you get started. Basically you will plug into the existing 4-Way on your Pathfinder. The blue wire then gets spliced into the reverse circuit wire on the vehicle for the reverse lockout on the boat trailer.
