Troubleshooting The Primus Brake Controller Stuck On PL Code

Question:

Hi my brake controller intermittently would click like a wire was lose and the last time i connectedthe carvan i had no brakes on it had to pull over and jiggle the connection and it came good. Would also have the crusie control disengage??? The other day cruise control would turn on but not engage? And the brake controller was on N.C the whole way home. Disconnected it and re connected now its stuck on P.L. 12 v seems ok as does ground??? Any thoughts

The PL code shows up on the Tekonsha Primus # TK90160 when power is not getting through when you step on the brake pedal. A place to start is to review the red wire connection. It should be attached to the brake switch wire that has power only when the brake pedal is pressed. If it has power at any other time it is not the correct wire.
