The Thule M.O.A.B. Roof Top Cargo Carrier will mount on your 2004 Ford F-150 as long as it is a Super Cab or SuperCrew Cab and has a roof rack system installed.

This cargo carrier requires a crossbar spread of 16 inches to 28 inches. If you have a factory roof rack on your truck, then you will want to measure the distance between your crossbars and make sure that measurement is between 16 and 28 inches.

If you do not have a roof rack system installed on your truck, then you will want to install the Thule Traverse Roof Rack System which includes the Thule SquareBars, # TH712500, Rapid Traverse Foot Pack, # TH480R, and the Traverse Fit Kit, # THKIT1556. With this kit on your roof you'll have a maximum capacity of 88 pounds.

Keep in mind that anytime you are going to haul cargo on the roof of a vehicle, you do need to find out the weight capacity of your roof. You can check the owners manual or contact the car dealer for the roof weight capacity that is allowed for your truck.
