Comparing Curt C13206 and EcoHitch 306-X7601 Trailer Hitches for a 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon
Question:
I need some help/input. I'm looking at the Curt 13206 and the EcoHitch 306-X7266 for my 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon and I'm not sure which one to choose. Curt hitches have a good reputation for durability which is why I want to go that way but I really like the look of the EcoHitch option too. I'll be using the trailer hitch mainly for my bike rack but I do plan on towing a small trailer occasionally. Which one do you recommend going with?

Since both the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13206 and the EcoHitch # 306-X7601 come with a limited lifetime warranty and have higher weight ratings than the 200 lb tongue/2,700 lb ratings of your 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon I recommend going with the EcoHitch option over the Curt since looks are very important to you. The EcoHitch will hold up just as well as the Curt and it has more of an OEM look which you'll be more happy with.
With that being said, Curt does have their trailer hitch # C13410 which has the same hidden cross tube design as the EcoHitch but it is a Curt brand so this is the best of both worlds for your situation.
To complete a Curt towing setup you also need the T-Connector # C56040 as well as a ball mount kit like the Curt Towing Starter Kit # C45534.
Attached are installation videos and written instructions for all 3 trailer hitches mentioned above.
