If the F11 fuse in your 2014 Ram pickup is in good shape then the next thing to check is the brake controller output on your 7-Way socket. Using a circuit tester like part # PTW2979, test the pin in the 5 o'clock position while using the manual override with your brake controller set to the highest power output setting. If you are getting power on this pin then your truck is fine and you need to inspect the brake wiring on your trailer. If you aren't getting power on this pin then either the controller is shot or the wiring between your controller and your 7-Way socket is in need of repairs.

You can try tracing the brake controller wiring on your Ram but more likely than not you will need to take your pickup to your local shop or Ram dealer to have them help you troubleshoot where the wiring is messed up (if the problem is on your vehicle side of things). If you'd like to simply bypass the OEM brake controller then the easiest option is to install the Curt Echo # C51180 which plugs into your 7-Way socket and is adjusted via an app for your Apple or Android smart device. This ignores the signal from another brake controller so you can safely use this in conjunction with your current controller.
