Can a Trunk Mount Bike Rack be Used on a 2005 Subaru Outback Wagon

I need to know if this rack will fit on a 2005 Subaru Outback with a hatch?

For your 2005 Subaru Outback Wagon, using a hatch mounted bike carrier is not recommended because the vehicle is unable to support the weight of the carrier.
I would recommend a trailer hitch and hitch mounted bike rack. For the Outback wagon you can use the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch, # 75560.
For a bike rack the Thule Camber Bike Carrier, # TH9058, would be a good choice and will also allow you to access the rear of your vehicle without removing the rack, like a trunk mounted rack.
If your bikes do not have a horizontal top frame tube to position the bike level enough for ground clearance on a bike rack you will need an adapter bar, like the Thule Bike Adapter Bar, # TH982XT. I linked a review video that will help you determine if this bar is needed for your specific bike.
