Do they have a 4way and a seven way for my ford expedition 1997 ford expedition need a 4way and a sevenway

Expert Reply:
Yes, there is a multi-plug 7-way and 4-way connector available for the 1997 Ford Expedition if it has the factory towing package. I recommend Reese Multi-Plug Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package part # 74682 that will allow you to connect to a trailer that uses a 7-way connector or a 4-way connector.
If the Ford Expedition does not have a factory towing package, you will need to use the T-One vehicle wiring harness part # 118344 for a 4-way. After you have the 4-way installed, you need part # ETBC7 to upgrade it to a 7-way plug. The kit comes with all of the wiring and components needed to wire in the 7-way plug. After the 7-way plug is installed you will have a spot to plug in a 7-way connector from the trailer or a 4-way if you need to.
If your trailer has brakes, you will also need an electric brake controller, for that I recommend The part # TK63VR which features an easy to read LED display and a power boost feature that allows you to preset the intensity of braking depending on how heavy your load is. You will also need part # 3035-P to plug the brake controller in the Expedition.
I have attached an installation videos for the ETBC7 on a Ford Expedition and a wiring diagram.
