Recommendation for Replacing Ladder on 2008 Carriage Domani

Hi, Looking for a replacement roof ladder for our fifth wheel. It needs to extend out from the roof a good 20inch and the old one is around 9foot long. Can you tell me what the replacement ladder would be or if you could suggest an alternative that would be very helpful. Thanks

The longest RV ladder and best option we have available for replacing the factory unit on your Carriage Domani is the Stromberg Carlson # LA-401. This particular ladder has a total height of 99-1/2" (8-1/4 feet). From where it mounts to the top of the roof to the vertical rungs there is a distance of 17 inches, compared to the 20 inch extension you mentioned having on your current model.

If you are able to lose a few inches of clearance for proper mounting this will work great. You can add the extension piece # LA-148 to gain another 48 inches of height if needed.

The ladder features a universal design and will simply attach to the top of the roof on your Carriage Domani. Optional hinges are included to allow fitment with angled walls and the support pegs can be added where necessary to provide additional support.
