Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch vs. Curt Trailer Hitch for 2019 Toyota RAV4
Question:
So I'm looking at the etrailer and Curt trailer hitches for my 2019 Toyota RAV4. I want the 2 inch version but for the life of me I cannot figure out what the difference is, other than the price. Is there even any difference or are they pretty much the same? I figure my lack of experience might be the reason I'm missing something so I thought I may as well ask. Thanks!

You are actually right on the money, because there is very little separating theetrailer Hitch # e23ZRand Curt Trailer Hitch # C13416 that fit your 2019 Toyota RAV4. Other than the price, there are two other differences between the two hitches.
The etrailer has a 4,500 lb towing capacity and 675 lb tongue weight capacity while the Curt has a 4,000 lb towing capacity and 600 lb tongue weight capacity. I should note that both capacites exceed the towing limit of your vehicle, which according to the owner's manual is 3,500 lbs if you have the towing package and 1,500 lbs if you do not.
Apart from that, these two hitches are essentially interchangeable, with an approximate 12 inch ground clearance (though the etrailer is just slightly higher) and 5 inch bumper clearance. Because of that, my recommendation is to go with the more budget-friendly option.
I also wanted to mention that if you do plan on doing some towing with your 2019 RAV4 and don't have a trailer wiring harness, the correct fit is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56434. I have added links to installation videos of each of these parts for you to check out as well.
