Hitch Mounted Bike Carrier Options for Carrying 4 Bikes on a 2010 Toyota Corolla S
Question:
Hi! I am looking for a trailer hitch rack for my 2010 Corolla S. I am thinking a 4 bike rack and one that tilts so I can get into my trunk with the rack on the car would be great. What do you recommend? Since the Corolla S has a spoiler on it, I want to make sure I purchase the best one for my car. Thank you

It is likely that the the trailer hitch on your 2010 Toyota Corolla S is a Class I hitch. With a Class I hitch you will be limited to carrying only 2 bikes because it cannot handle the leverage applied by the additional bikes.
For your set up, I recommend the Swagman Trailhead 2 Bike Rack, # S63360. This is one of our most popular bike racks among our Toyota customers and has the tilting feature that will allow you to access your trunk without removing the bike rack.
I also recommend using the Swagman Adapter Bar, # 64005, to carry womens and childrens bikes safely. I have attached a video of this adapter bar for you to check out.
If you want to carry two additional bikes you can use roof mounted bike racks like the Thule UpRide Wheel-Mount Bike Rack, # TH599000. This bike rack will mount to Thule square load bars, round bars and most factory bars. If you do not have a roof rack on your vehicle, then you can use the Thule Traverse Roof Rack which includes SquareBars, # TH712200, Rapid Traverse Foot Pack, # TH480R, and Fit Kit, # THKIT1515.
