What is Needed to Install Brake Controller on a 2016 Chevy Suburban
Question:
Hi can I buy a plug in brake controller for my 2016 Chevy suburban or do I need to run new wiring?

Helpful Expert Reply:
If your 2016 Chevy Suburban has the factory tow package then you can use the adapter # 3016 to install the Prodigy P3 # 90195 on your vehicle. If you don't have the factory tow package then you might need the additional wiring part # 30955.
We also have the Curt Echo # C51180 which plugs directly into a 7-Way wiring connector at the back of your vehicle and will work as long as you have the basic trailer wiring and 12V power signals. With this brake controller you use your Apple or Android smart device to adjust the braking action of this brake controller and use the manual override via Bluetooth connection.
