How Many Thule # THXADAPT9 Adapters Are Needed to Attach Thule Echelon to Rapid Aero Load Bars

Question:

So how many of these do you need to connect the echelon to the rapid aero bars? Im a bit confused about having the right number of parts. I dont recall my echelon coming with two rectangular plates. Also, how do you connect the front? This only helps with the back, correct? thanks

Only one of the THXADAPT9 adapters would be needed to connect one Thule Echelon to the Thule Rapid Aero load bars. This adapter comes with a curved metal bracket for the rear crossbar and two square head bolts that go into the top channels of the front crossbar. There are two nuts that secure the front of the bike rack to the two square bolts.
