Tonneau cover fits are very specific. They typically only fit the same model and make of truck for a few years and require a new fit when there's a generation change. Also a Dakota is a mid sized truck and a Sierra is a full sized truck so one cover would not be able to fit both.

For a similar Access tonneau cover to the one you referenced that does fit your 2011 GMC Sierra 6-1/2 foot bed you'd want the # A22020289.
