Will the 4-Way to 6 Pole Adapter # 37175 Fit a 2000 Ford F-150 with Factory 4-Way
Question:
i have a 2000 ford f-150 with a 4 pin harness i see this part has a rubber cover over the 4 pin plug, will this still work on my pin

The protective cover on the Adapter, # 37175 should not interfere with the standard 4-Way on your 2000 Ford F-150. It may be snug at first but you do want a tight connection. I have included a link to a video review of this harness for you.
In order to make the 6 pole fully functional, you will need to hardwire in the remaining wires on the adapter. You must ground the white wire to the vehicle frame using the white wire on the adapter. The blue wire will connect to a brake controller. The red wire is for a 12 volt hot lead and will connect to the positive battery terminal via a 40 amp circuit breaker, # PK54540.
Please note that on this adapter, the center pin is for electric brakes.
