can i buy just the pins that hold the ball in place i lost the 2inch and 2 5/16 pins

The internal pins in the balls are not available separately but you can replace the balls that include the pins. For a 2 inch use # 400B for nickel-plated steel, or # 401B for stainless steel. For 2-5/16 use # 600B for nickel-plated steel or # 601B for stainless steel.
