Can Draw-Tite Hitch # 75270 Be Installed on 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring With Parking Sensor System

Question:

We have a 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring model with park assist/sensor, can the trailer hitch be installed also in this model? In the your video the minivan does not have the sensor, I am just curious if we can do it since we want to carry our 4 bicycles. What would be the effect of this to the sensor?

The Draw-Tite Class III 2 Inch Hitch, part # 75270, will fit your 2011 Honda Odyssey Touring model.

Since your Honda Odyssey Touring model has a parking sensor system you will probably want to turn the system off when you are hauling bikes on the hitch. With the system activated it would sense the bikes on the back of the vehicle and activate the sensors, when you put the vehicle in reverse. The hitch is located under the vehicle so the hitch itself will not set off the parking sensors.
