We do have an option for you, though your 2" x 4" square channel bumper does not have the strength and stability for a trailer hitch to work, which means you will need to use a frame-mounted hitch on your 2016 Dutchmen Kodiak travel trailer. For this the Adjustable Width Trailer Hitch Receiver for RVs # 13703 so long as your Kodiak has a box frame, C-channel frame, or I-beam frame that is between 22" and 72" wide. This hitch has brackets which you can either bolt or weld on, as you can see in the linked installation instructions. It also has a tongue weight capacity of 350 lbs, which is plenty for your generator.
Then for a cargo carrier the best option to carry your generator is the Reese Solo Cargo Carrier # PS1040100 because it measures 12" from the hitch pin hole to the carrier platform, which is the most for a fixed cargo carrier, which will help ensure you have the proper clearance from your frame. This cargo carrier is also 48" long x 32" wide x 3" tall so it is more square than most carriers, which is perfect for a generator. It does come with a pin and clip, though you will need to use the Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories # 18050, as per the instructions of the Curt hitch.
The carrier has tie-down points as well so you can use tie-downs like the Erickson Industrial Power Pull Bungee Cord - 19" Long # EM06664 or ProGrip XRT Rope Lock Tie-Downs # 317-403420.
I have added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.
