Recommended Weight Distribution System for a 4,000 Lb Trailer

I have two options for you; a system without sway control in the Curt MV Weight Distribution System part # C17050 and a system with sway control in the Husky Center Line Weight Distribution System part # HT32216. These systems are both rated correctly for your 4,000 lbs trailer. I recommend the system with sway control as you will have stability during strong crosswinds or when large trucks pass by. It also comes with a 2-5/16" hitch ball which is what you need as I am not aware of a 2-5/8" hitch ball. If you go with the Curt MV Weight Distribution System then you also need the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball part # C40030.
