Can the Gears Inside an Atwood Landing Gear Set Be Replaced
Question:
Need to replace follow leg gears. Jack is Atwood heavy duty. Both gears are same size and number of teeth is 15 on both gears. Where can I get replacement kit for it? 5th wheel is jayco eagle 243 tks 1998. 27foot .

I do have an option for you but Atwood has since gone out of business and there are no repair kits for their landing gear legs. Therefore, the only option you have would be to replace the entire set. For this, the Stromberg Carlson Electric Landing Gear Set part # LG-3 is a very popular option. It comes with new brackets if yours do not match the required 17-1/2" outside to outside and 15-1/2" inside to inside for the above.
