Platform Bike Rack Recommendation for Mountain Bike and Cruiser with Fenders

Question:

I plan on carrying a mtn bike and a cruiser. The cruiser has a front fender that protrudes 4inch in front of the fork. Will this rack work?

For bikes that have fenders the best solution is a bike rack that grabs the bikes by the frame instead like the Thule DoubleTrack Pro XT part # TH92BJ. The tire mount styles of bike racks like the part # RKY10004 grab the front tire right where the fender is which means the wheel mount racks can't be used on fendered bikes. You'd have to put the arm of the rack over the fender which would damage it most likely.

The clamps of the DoubleTrack Pro XT are very easy to use and securely attach the bike to the rack. It will do a great job securing your bikes and you'll really like how easy it is to use and how stable the rack is overall.
