Best Roof Rack Fit for 2020 Jeep Gladiator

Question:

Lookign for a roof rack for my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. Not for the truck bed but something for the actual roof. What is the best one for my Jeep?

Expert Reply:

The best roof rack for your 2020 Jeep Gladiator consists of the Yakima 1A Raingutter Towers # Y00101 and Round 58" CrossBars for Yakima Roof Rack System # Y00409.

As you can see from the accompanying photo, which is from Yakima, this roof rack system will give your Gladiator a fantastic way to mount accessories like bike racks, kayak carriers or cargo boxes so you can get to your destination in style with all your needed gear.

I also recommend using the Yakima Same Key System (SKS) Lock Cores # Y07204 to secure the rack to your Jeep's roof and protect the investment you made.

I've added links to video reviews for you to check out as well.

I have the one touch sky rooftop on a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Is there enough clearance to open the top with the rack installed?

The Yakima 1A Raingutter Towers # Y00101 have a height of 7-1/4". I can't be sure if you'll be able to open up the roof on your Wangler Unlimited (simply because we haven't gotten a chance to test this) but what you can do is take this measurement up from the rain gutters on the roof to see if it clears the roof while it's being opened. If need be, you can also add the HiRise Spacers # Y01101, which will add an additional 3-1/2" to this height.

Like this setup but don’t want to attach rack to removable freedom top as pictured in post. Can bars be positioned over rear portion of hardtop effectively and if so would the fairing still be effective if pushed back?

You can absolutely move the front two towers back so that they are just on the rear portion of the hard top. The fairing mounts to the front bar itself so it goes wherever the bar goes. It will still direct the wind up and over the roof rack. I have provided a few links so that you can find everything easier.
