When towing a fifth wheel trailer it's normal for the suspension of the truck to sag slightly as the trailer's pin weight is a solid amount of weight. I think it's a really great idea for all trucks including yours to have suspension enhancement when towing like the Firestone kit part # F2709 which fits your 2018 GMC Sierra 3500 with an in-bed hitch as this will remove all of the sag.
If the sag is a fraction of an inch or barely noticeable when you look at the profile of the truck you'd be fine without the air bags though.
For a compressor kit then the heavy duty part # F2097 will work great to make inflating the bags and maintaining them easier. The compressor will inflate faster than standard compressors and the gauge inside the vehicle will allow you to monitor and inflate them from inside the vehicle.
