Best Option to Reduce Sway and Sag When Towing with 2013 Honda Odyssey
Question:
I’m towing an 18ft travel trailer that weighs right at the 3500lb limit with just under 400lb of tongue weight when fully loaded and want to improve the height of the vehicle and add sway control. I’m using a 6in rise but that still causes the trailer to point down. I see that this hitch doesn’t have a rating for weight distribution so what are my options for sway control?

The best option to prevent the sagging and sway you have when towing with your 2013 Honda Odyssey will be with rear suspension enhancement and a friction sway control unit.
For rear suspension enhancement the Air Lift kit part # AL60815 is what you'd want. Once installed you can inflate the bags to whatever amount of support you need to level the vehicle.
Then for sway control you could use the Reese kit part # 83660 which uses friction to slow the movement between the vehicle and trailer when sway might occur which does a great job reducing it.
