Yakima BowDown Kayak Carrier Recommendation for OEM Crossbars of 2011 Lexus RX350

Question:

Im wondering which J Kayak carrier will best fit the OEM crossbars on my 2011 Lexus RX350. Im considering the TH835, and the Y04038. I currently have an no-name J rack and it doesn not fit very well. Thanks.

I checked with Yakima and Thule and all of the racks you referenced are confirmed to fit on the factory cross bars of your 2011 Lexus RX350. The # TH834, and the # Y04073.

I believe the Thule Hull-A-Port # TH835PRO and the Yakima JayLow # Y04073 are the front runners because they can be folded down when not in use for garage clearance.

If it was me I would go with the # Y04073 as it offers an easier way to get the kayaks in position on the rack. To see what I mean check out the link to the review video for this product that I attached.
