Can A 15 Foot Extension Be Used On a 36 Foot 50 Amp RV Shore Power Cord

My RV has a 36foot power cord supplied. I will need 15foot extension to make hook up easy. Is it safe to add 15foot to my existing power cord? Thanks

Yes, it would be okay to add a 15' foot extension cord to your 36' shore power cord, the Mighty Cord 15' RV Power Cord Extension part # A10-5015EH is what I recommend for a 50 amp service. The only thing you need to be careful of is that you don't have the point where the two cords attach sitting in a puddle or anything else of that nature. If that were the case then a one-piece 50' power cord, the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord with Handle part # A10-5050E would be needed.
