Can a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox with 2.0L Gas Engine Be Flat-Towed
Question:
You offer a baseplate kit for a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox with a 2.0l engine, But chevrolet dealer tells me that only 1.5l gas and 1.6l Diesel engines can be flat towed. I was also told that no Equinox with a 9 speed transmission can be flat towed. am I getting bad information? Please advise. Thank you.

According to the owner's manual (page 355) for your 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, all models with the 2.0L gas engine can be flat-towed with four wheels down. Therefore, it does appear you are getting incorrect information from the dealer.
