Question:

Thanks Patrick! One last question if I went with the rhino do I need to buy all of it separate or is there a complete package?

I recommend the Rhino rack package including the Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA137B-2, Rhino-Rack Legs for Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRRLKVA, and the Custom DK Fit Kit for 4 Rhino-Rack Roof Rack Legs # DK284. The Rhino-Rack is sturdy, has an attractive design to compliment your CRV, and the aero bar design reduces wind noise and is also a great value.

If you want a premium rack option for a newer vehicle like your 2019 Model CRV, the Thule package Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711400, Evo Clamp Feet # TH710501, and Fit Kit for Thule Evo Clamp Roof Rack Feet # TH145046 is a solid option too.

The strong yet lightweight aluminum crossbars and aero design are features that both brands offer and both offer a lifetime warranty, so you know they will each stand behind their product. In addition to the rack a solid kayak carrier like the # E98878 will securely carry your kayak and includes all the necessary straps right out of the box. The attached video is an excellent resource to get you started.

If this were my CR-V, I'd go with the Rhino-Rack Vortex system because you just can't beat the value. I would save a little money on the roof rack and apply it toward a quality kayak carrier including the straps, etc. you need to make it to the river or lake good to go.

While we have them grouped together online as a complete package, they are purchased separately. I am including a link to the package page where they are all listed on one page if that helps.
