Easy to Install Brake Controller for 2019 Nissan Armada

2017 Armada Sv Had a 7 pin trailer wire harness installed after our purchase. Everything works great except I dont see anywhere the brake controller plug for my primus unit under the steering column. Why.

That's because in 2019 they didn't put a brake controller install connector under the dash of the Nissan Armada. There is an easy way to install a brake controller in your vehicle that has a 7-way now though. If you went with the Curt Echo Mobile # C51180 all you have to do is plug in the controller to your 7-way and then once it's synced to your smart phone it's ready to use without requiring any hardwiring.

The brake controller install wiring/harnesses that your Armada could have had installed from the factory is not the same as the 7-way you had installed. 7-Way wiring installed after the purchase of the vehicle is mostly wiring at the rear of the vehicle while this sometimes does connect to the brake controller install wiring, it's typically not installed at the same time as the brake controller wiring. Brake controller wiring usually installs under the dash of a vehicle and is rarely offered as an aftermarket option due to how involved the install would be. In these cases it typically easier to just hardwire a brake controller instead.
