Can I Mix Different Load Range Tires Or Tire Sizes On My Trailer

Question:

Is it ok to run a trailer tire with a max psi of 35lbs on the same side of the trailer with a max psi of 50 or 65lb tire?

It sounds like you are running two different load ranges on your trailer. From my research most load range C tires have a maximum of 50 PSI and and a load range B tire will have a maximum of 35 PSI. The load range of a tire indicates it's horizontal and sidewall strength. Normally tires of a higher load range can handle higher amounts of weight and may have larger section widths then a lower range tire so it is not a good idea to mix load ranges or tire sizes on the same trailer. It could lead to uneven wear because one tire may experience more heat/weight stress then the other. You also want to make sure you are inflating the tires to their max PSI rating at all times unless specified otherwise by the manufacturer.
