Determining if Convert-A-Ball Gooseneck Coupler # CG Will Fit 2002 Horton Gooseneck Trailer
Question:
I have a 2002 Horton gooseneck horse trailer. The hitch is either a Ram or Bulldog. It has 2 bolts on the inside of the outer tube facing the trailer not the truck. Will this work? My vehicle is a 2018 f250 super duty and is higher than my previous truck thus the need for a shorter inner tube.

Expert Reply:
Yes, as long as the existing outer tube on your Horton Gooseneck has a 4 inch inner diameter the Convert-A-Ball Multi-Cushioned Gooseneck Coupler # CG will install and work great. This coupler doesn't require the use of a pin that goes through the unit so the 2 bolts you mentioned won't be an issue.
This unit has an overall height of 25.94 inches and will also work to provide you with a much more comfortable towing experience because of polyurethane cushion. I have attached a short video demonstration that you can also check out.
