While a 4.80-12 size tire would fit because it is smaller, I recommend sticking with your 145R12 tire size (which is also known as 145/80R12) for a few reasons. The first reason is that the 145R12 size tires have a higher weight rating which means by keeping this size you won't be lowering your overall weight rating. Second reason is that the 145R12 is a radial tire which is built for highway use. The 4.80-12 tires can be used on the highway but they are all bias tires which have a stiffer sidewall which makes them more ideal for offroad use.

We have the 145R12 tire readily available from Kenda with a Load Range D # AM10130 (1,220 lbs at 65 psi) and a Load Range E # AM10140 (1,520 lbs at 80 psi). I recommend using the Load Range E tire simply because of the higher weight rating.

I did notice that on your trailer tag it looks like the OEM tire size was 5.70-8. The bigger tire size is fine jut make sure that you have about 4" of clearance between the tire and the fender to help account for suspension travel.
