It sounds like your 2010 Ram 1500 wasn't equipped with the factory 7-Way, which is why you couldn't find the brake controller plug-in port behind the dash. Most likely the aftermarket 7-Way that was installed on your truck simply wasn't wired all the way to include the brake output circuit (blue wire) that you're also looking for.

The red wire from the Tekonsha Voyager Brake Controller # 39510 needs to connect to the cold side of the brake light switch behind the brake pedal, this is the wire on your Ram that ONLY receives power with the brake pedal depressed and no power with any other function. Based on my research this wire should be white on Ram so you can begin by testing that one. I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2979 to verify this is the correct wire.

If there isn't a wire connected at all to the 7-Way's brake output pin (7 o'clock position on the inside/back of the connector) this will need to be added. You can use a length of 10 gauge wire # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) from this terminal up along the truck to the engine compartment under the hood. Then route the wire through the firewall into the cab so it can be connected to the blue wire on the Voyager.

I have attached an in-depth brake controller install article that you might also find helpful.
