When choosing a weight distribution system, you will want one that has a tongue weight capacity range that encompasses the trailer tongue weight when loaded and ready to tow plus the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.
I recommend going with a system that is rated for 400 to 800 pounds. That will put the 600 pounds right in the middle where you want it to be. A good economy system would be the Reese, # RP67509 . It comes with everything you will need except a properly sized ball. Use # A-90 for a 2 inch or # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch.
I have also included a link to our FAQ article on weight distribution for you.
