Will the Curt Class III Receiver Part # 13534 Fit a 2012 Toyota Highlander

I have a 2012 Toyota Highlander Limited,. 4x2 Model 6954 with 19 wheels. I am interested in the Curt hitch but noticed in your info that the 2012 may not accept the Curt 13534? Is this correct?

The Class III hitch you referenced, part # 13534 will indeed fit a 2012 Toyota Highlander. To be absolutely certain, I gave our friends at Curt Manufacturing a call, and they confirmed the fit.
If you were planning on using the hitch for non-trailer loads such as a bike rack or a cargo carrier, the Curt warranty requires the use of a stabilizing strap, part # 18050. If you were planning on towing with the hitch, you might also need the following:
Ball mount, part # D-4
Wiring Harness with 4-pole trailer connector, part # 56042 for vehicles with the tow package or # 118449 for vehicles without the tow package
2 inch trailer ball, part # 19247
1-7/8 inch trailer ball, part # 19260
Pin and clip, part # PC3
Locking hitch pin, part # e98882
I have linked to the install instructions for the hitch and the wiring. I have also linked you to some install videos that you might find helpful. The hitch install video shows the same hitch being installed on a 2011 Highlander, the procedure would be identical for your 2012 model. The wiring harness install video shows the harness being installed on a different vehicle, but the procedure for your Highlander would be similar.
