Can Curt True Course Sway Control be Used with Curt Echo Brake Controller

Question:

I use a Curt echo wireless controller on my Touareg which plugs into the 7 pin on my tow vehicle. Can I use this sway control unit with that brake controller? I would imagine that, if compatible, one would plug in the True Course first and then plug the Curt brake controller to the “box” of the Hayes. From there, you would plug the trailer 7 pin to the echo. Does that sound right or should you reverse the order of the brake controller and sway control devices? Thanks

You can use the Curt True Course # C94VV with the Curt Echo # C51180 but you'd want to have the Echo installed first (plugged into vehicle 7-way) and then the True Course behind it as it is designed to allow brake controller signal to pass through it and activate brakes whereas the Echo would not allow the voltage of the True Course to pass through it and make it to the trailer brakes.
