Is it OK If Loaded Front Fender Height is Lower with Reese Strait-Line WD System Is Installed
Question:
My current setup has 4 links between the bar and snap up bracket. I find that it rides better if I have plenty of tension on the bars. My question is, is it OK to have my loaded front fender measurement slightly lower than then unloaded measurement potentially over adjusted, if it brings my hookup completely back to level? If so, what is the acceptable range if not exactly the same? FYI, when unhooked, my initial ball height is 1/2inch higher than the coupler when level, before tilting back to the recommended angle.

The tongue weight of a trailer distributed partially up to the front axle of a vehicle is going to lower it's height from the stock height. If the spring tension you are using is allowing the trailer to sit level and is giving you the best overall towing experience it sounds like you have found the "sweet spot" and are totally fine.
