Furrion Chill AC Unit Recommendation for 2005 Keystone Outback
Question:
I currently have 2005 keystone outback and needed to replace the A/C it currently has a 13, 500 btu ducted carrier unit with a remote thermostat on it ,it never has cooled sufficiently so i wanted to upgrade to a 15,000 btu unit. I think i would need the lower distribution box and thermostat but would i also need a pigtail adapter to connect the carrier plug to the furrion a/c or something else to complete it for installation. Could you tell me what exactly what i need i was intrested in the 15000btu

The Furrion Chill RoofTop AC system part # FR86PR is a really great solution for a replacement on your 2005 Keystone Outback. It will blow much colder than your Carrier unit and can move more air so it will do a better job covering more cubic feet.
Since your old Carrier unit was a ducted application that means this will bolt right up to the same way. You can add the air distribution box part # FACT12SA-PS if you want or you can use the same ducts/vents you already have.
For a wall thermostat then you'd need the part # FR33PR and you'd be set.
