Mounting Hardware for Classl II Curt Trailer Hitch for 2009 Ford Taurus X

Question:

Can I purchase the nuts, bolts and other mounting hardware that goes with the 1-1/4 inch receiver hitch for the 2009 Taurus X? I have a receiver that I am taking off of a 2005 ford freestyle and want to mount it on a 2009 Ford Taurus X which is a re branded Ford Freestyle. The 1-1/4 inch receiver that you have pictured on etrailer looks like the 2 inch receiver I have from my freestyle.

I have attached a cutout of the parts list that comes with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C12292. You can acquire this through us with part # RHK. Just go to this product page and enter the part 12292 before placing your order.

Please note that hardware is trailer hitch specific so you will want to verify that you do in fact have this Curt trailer hitch before ordering. According to our info the 12292 does not fit a 2005 Ford Freestyle and the only trailer hitche that does fit both is the Draw-Tite Class III # 75299.
